Raduga KSR-5

The Raduga KSR-5 (NATO reporting name AS-6 Kingfish) is a long-range, air launched cruise missile and anti ship missile developed by the same OKB-155 (with assistance from Tupolev) as a lighter and slightly smaller version of the essentially similar Kh-22 with (reportedly) a lower radar cross section, and powered by a solid-, rather than liquid-, propellant motor.

The Kh-26 (KSR-5) was produced in similar variants to the Kh-22 (AS-4 ‘Kitchen’), but with an additional passive seeker version, and could be deployed a land attack missile with either Nuclear or conventional warheads, and as an anti-ship missile.

The principle launch platform is the Tu-16K ‘Badger’, which carries two under each wing. The Tu-22M ‘Blinder’ can also launch the Kh-26.
