Junkers Ju 322

The Junkers Ju 322 Mammut (Mammoth) was a heavy transport military glider, resembling a giant flying wing, proposed for use by the Luftwaffe in World War II. Only two prototypes were ever built. Other Junkers transport designs that entered service included the Ju 160 single engine transport, the Ju 252 pressurized tri-motor transport and the even bigger Ju 352. The latter was built mainly from wood, a feature shared with the most bizarre of the Junkers wartime transports, the Ju 322 Mammut glider.
