The Electronics and Space Corporation AGM-123 Skipper II is a low cost, air launched, stand-off anti ship missile which entered US Navy service in 1985. It is essentially a powerful conversion of the GBU-16 Paveway II laser guided bomb fitted with the same rocket engine that propels the AGM-45 Shrike Anti-radar missile.
The AGM-123 Skipper saw combat service during the 1991 Gulf War.
